Market Square Architects and Aesh Design Architects Merge

Market Square Architects, PLLC, an architecture firm with locations in Portmsouth, NH and Austin, Texas and Aesh Design Architects, a firm located in St. Louis, Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee, recently merged. The combined company will operate as Market Square Architects (MSA), and will be led by Adam Wagner, AIA and Robert Harbeson, AIA, who founded the firm in 2016.

Market Square Architects, an architecture and interiors design firm, specializes in multi-family housing, senior living, industrial, education, healthcare, custom residential, and retail. MSA has grown over the past six yearshas received back-to-back Inc. 5000 awards in 2021 and 2022.

The merger will increase the ability to serve clients’ needs, broaden the portfolio and expand the organization’s national footprint. Aesh currently operates out of St. Louis, Missouri but was founded in Nashville, Tennessee. The firm has established a presence in the Mid-West with projects spanning multi-family, mixed-use, custom single-family and retail sectors. The newly merged firm will remain headquartered in Portsmouth, NH while working collaboratively across offices in Austin and St. Louis.

“Our relationship with Patrick Weber of Aesh Design is strong from years of knowing each other professionally and working together on several collaborations over the last two years. We are looking forward to now working together as a single entity,” Wagner says. “Patrick brings 20 years of skill and experience to the table, as well as a talented team of project managers and coordinators. We are confident that the combined team will be greater than a sum of its parts.”

The St. Louis location will operate as Aesh Design, a Division of Market Square Architects, PLLC and Weber will join as the newest Director in the company. “I have been looking to grow Aesh (Designs) here in St. Louis and Nashville and believe this merger will allow us to do so. When Adam and Rob reached out, it was perfect timing. MSA’s has an impressive portfolio, business approach and client list; we are excited to be joining them,” says Weber.
