Manchester NH Seeking Sisterhood With Manchester U.K.

The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is hosting a delegation of businesses from Manchester, UK starting yesterday February 11 through Wednesday, February 13. The visit from the UK delegation is the result of a three-year-long effort to establish a Sister-City relationship with Manchester, UK. The Chamber will formally welcome the delegates at a reception at the Chamber of Commerce, 54 Hanover Street on Monday, February 11 from 7:30- 9:00 a.m. Both the Mayor of Manchester Ted Gatsas and Governor Maggie Hassan will be in attendance along with the new British Consul General to New England, Susie Kitchens.

The delegation which was formed as a partnership between the British Consulate UK Trade and Investment Division and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, will consist of the following UK representatives from business, government and chamber of commerce: David Forrest, Chief Executive, Compliance Control Ltd: Compliance Control provides an Electronic Quality and Compliance Control and Management system, ComplianceControl Centre‟ aimed at pharmaceutical, Life Science, Biotech, Med Devices, and other similarly regulated SMEs.
