Manchester Agency Hires Award-Winning Journalist

Published Thursday Oct 30, 2014

Eisenberg, Vital & Ryze Advertising (EVR) in Manchester continues to grow with the addition of Jim Fennell as director of content services. In his new role, Fennell will be responsible for providing content for clients.

EVR President Jeff Eisenberg explained that Fennell brings a journalistic sense to EVR because of his ability to deliver information in an interesting way to a wide audience. “We are continually finding ways to help position our clients as leaders in their fields and adding Jim to our already talented staff is one more way to do that,” Eisenberg said. “Our clients have interesting stories to share. Jim is able to tell those stories in a way that relates well to the many media and social media channels of today’s marketing environment.”

Fennell is no stranger to the EVR's media contacts. He was an award-winning reporter, feature writer and columnist for more than a decade with the NH Union Leader. He has also worked with the Keene Sentinel and Cape Cod Times. Fennell also co-founded SportsNewHampshire, a news service focused on high school and youth sports.

Fennell has been honored by public relations organizations and media groups for his work, most notably his 2001 series of stories on the rise and fall of George O’Leary as football coach at Notre Dame. The Associated Press named the story one of the Top 10 sports stories of the year and Fennell was invited to the AP annual convention that year as a guest speaker.
