Keynote Speaker for NH Conference for Women Announced

The keynote speaker for the 5th annual NH Conference for Women on November 14, 2014, is Mel Robbins, a CNN on-air commentator, author, legal analyst, TV/radio host, TED super star and Dartmouth College graduate.
 
Robbins says she is about helping women make things happen. In her keynote address “The 5-Second Rule: How Your Brain Screws You Over and What To Do About It,” she will discuss how to improve effectiveness as a leader, increase personal productivity, and bolter negotiation, networking and communication skills. Her second session – “The Secret to Successfully Manage Your Day, Your In Box, Your Priorities and Your People” will focus on strategies to manage an unruly in box, eliminate distractions and disarming difficult people.
 
In addition to Robbins, there will be six other speakers including Randy Pierce, a UNH graduate and founder of 2020 Vision Quest. During two short but significant weeks in 1989, a devastating neurological disease transformed Randy from a healthy and ordinary man to a blind man completely uncertain of his future. His passion for experience encouraged him to use adversity as a positive catalyst for growth and opportunity resulting in such amazing adventures as earning his second degree black belt, making history as a blind hiker and his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Pierce will demonstrate how everyone can push through their challenges and define, embrace and achieve any goal.
 
Other speakers will be sharing advice and insights on transforming one's life by following passion, looking and feeling younger and healthier, managing stress, developing habits to become an unstoppable force of nature and turning ideas and goals into action.

The NH Conference for Women is hosted by Women Inspiring Women, an organization for women’s empowerment, personal development, business resources and networking in the Granite State. It is being held at the Radisson Hotel, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, NH from 8:00 to 4:30. The day will also feature complimentary relationship, career, business and financial mentoring along with 50+ exhibitors selling products/services and sharing resources.
