Hopkinton Middle/High School in Contoocook was listed as the top NH high school on the 2016 U.S. World & News Report rankings, ahead of 13 other ranked NH high schools.
Criteria for the list is comprised of areas such as student-teacher ratio and college readiness, with Hopkinton scoring particularly well in the latter category.
The remaining 13 ranked NH high schools were listed in the following order:
- Sunapee Senior High School
- Profile Senior High School in Bethlehem
- Goffstown High School
- Moultonborough Academy
- Conant High School in Jaffrey
- Exeter High School
- White Mountain Regional High School in Whitefield
- Hanover High School
- Bedford High School
- Hillsboro-Deering High School in Hillsboro
- John Stark Regional High School in Weare
- Keene High School
- Monadnock Regional High School in East Swanzey
Though 66 other public NH high schools are listed and scored by U.S. World & News Report, the organization says there wasn’t enough total information to officially rank the schools. There are also 10 NH charter schools listed in the report, none of which received a ranking either.
