Hooksett Chamber Appoints New Executive Director

The Hooksett Chamber of Commerce recently appointed Mark Chagnon as its executive director. A longtime Hooksett resident, Chagnon has more than 30 years of experience volunteering in the nonprofit sector. He has been involved in HYAA sports, both as a coach and administrator. Currently, he serves as president of the Hooksett Soccer Program. Chagnon was also instrumental in starting the track program at Cawley Middle School, where he served as head coach for three years. In addition, He has volunteered as a Cub Scout leader and Boy Scout leader. Chagnon works as a territory manager in the advertising department at the Hooksett Banner and Union Leader

Chagnon says he looks forward to bringing both new members and fresh ideas to the Chamber. His goals are to increase to the value of Chamber membership through exclusive discounts and promotions; offer targeted programming and activities that better serve the wants and needs of members; and further engage both current and past members. "I believe the Chamber is an extension of the community, and that by partnering with other organizations in Hooksett, we can make an impact that will stand the test of time," he says.
