Greater Concord Chamber to Present Pinnacle Awards

The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce announced its 2020 W. Grant McIntosh Volunteer of the Year Award recipient, Jayme Simões of Louis Karno & Company Communications, LLC, and the Concord Young Professional of the Year, Phil Sletten of the NH Fiscal Policy Institute. They will be recognized during the 15th Annual Pinnacle Awards Ceremony on Thursday, November 19.

This year’s Pinnacle Awards Ceremony will be hosted in a unique format; attendees can join in person or online and enjoy lively networking and a robust agenda no matter how they choose to participate.

“Normally the W. Grant McIntosh Volunteer of the Year awards recipient and Concord Young Professional of the Year are surprise announcements during our annual Pinnacle Awards event, but due to this year’s new event format, it made sense to share the good news in advance,” Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce President Tim Sink said. “We will be following all safety guidelines for the in-person event, and that includes limited seating. We want to be sure our award recipients and their supporters have the opportunity to attend in person if they choose to.”

The presentation of the W. Grant McIntosh Volunteer of the Year award is one of the highlights of the annual Pinnacle Awards event. This award honors an individual who goes above and beyond the call of volunteerism to the Chamber. This year’s recipient, Jayme Simões, has supported the Chamber for many years and currently serves on the board of directors, as co-chair of the Creative Concord Committee and is the driving force behind Visit Concord, NH—a website, blog, and social media channels that drive tourism to Concord.

The Concord Young Professional of the Year recognizes an individual who demonstrates professional excellence in their field and commitment to the community and Concord Young Professional Network (CYPN). Phil Sletten, this year’s honoree, exemplifies hard work and dedication through both his professional work at NH Fiscal Policy Institute and his volunteer efforts.

The 15th Annual Pinnacle Awards Ceremony is generously sponsored by Eversource Energy Services, Sanel NAPA, and Business NH Magazine and will also recognize the Pinnacle Award recipients: Small Business of the Year, The Works Café; Business of the Year, The Common Man Concord; the Nonprofit Business of the Year: Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association; and the Business Leader of the Year: Christopher Emond, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire.

All are welcome to attend on Thursday, November 19. Join in person from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (includes full luncheon at Holiday Inn in Concord); attend with VIP online ticket from 12-1:30 p.m. (includes virtual networking and celebratory package); or watch complimentary event Livestream from 12:30-1:30 p.m. For more information or to register, visit ConcordNHChamber.com/key-events or contact the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce at (603) 224-2508 or events@concordnhchamber.com.
