EnSky Launches NHSeacoast.tv

Advertising agency EnSky in Dover has officially announced the launch of the new website NHSeacoast.tv, an online TV channel serving the Greater New Hampshire Seacoast.  The site was expanded and enhanced from the former DoverNH.tv site which was originally launched in 2009.

"Web technologies are finally catching up to my original vision for DoverNH.tv and based on our success with DoverNH.tv, help from our friends, and our growing audience, we decided to expand our coverage to the whole Seacoast instead of focusing on Dover," said David Flood, founder of NHSeacoast.tv.  The site features full size videos on the front page, and as one digs deeper into the site there are a selection of new videos on topics like where to eat, what to do, events, nightlife, local and national live music, and local Seacoast-based businesses.  All the video segments are filmed around the Seacoast area and have a dual purpose: they provide NHSeacoast.tv's visitors a visual guide to local businesses while helping the businesses themselves increase traffic to their websites and locations.

David Flood laughed, "I started putting video on the web way before it was cool.  People would actually get upset because in those days we connected to the internet using dial-up modems....video took forever to load. NHSeacoast.tv is the culmination of 14 years of personal experience producing video for the web.   It's really exciting that we are finally able to do the things that I envisioned for the functionality of the site, although this is just the beginning of internet TV."

The goal of the site is to provide local businesses a cost effective way to promote their business to the local community using video, the internet, and social media.  NHSeacoast.tv and EnSky's video production company WayC Productions (www.waycu.com) is positioned to further explore the marketing strategy for online video production and internet TV.
