Easterseals NH to Honor Longtime CEO

Larry GammonEasterseals NH will hold a Roast & Toast Tribute to honor longtime President & CEO Larry Gammon on September 19 at The DoubleTree by Hilton in Manchester, NH, 4:30 to 8:30 pm. The event, which is open to the public, will honor Gammon’s 48 years of services to people with disabilities or special needs. Tickets are $50 per person.

Gammon joined Easterseals in 1971 as a special education principal/teacher. He steadily advanced through the organization before being promoted to president and CEO in 1988. Gammon’s successor, President of Families in Transition-New Horizons Maureen Beauregard, will take over the reins on October 31. Gammon will remain as President & CEO of Easterseals NH, VT, ME, and Farnum until the transition is complete.

Under Gammon’s leadership, Easterseals has grown from a small organization to a large and well-respected non-profit, offering 13 core programs. Additionally, Easterseals has grown to serve more than 32,000 clients of all ages, annually, with a staff of 1,800.
