Dunn Nominated for Credit Excellence Award

Award-winning author and credit and debt collection expert, Michelle Dunn was nominated for the Credit Excellence Award for 2011. The Credit Excellence Awards, in association with the national firm, the Marston Group, to bring together the brightest and best in the credit and debt collection industry, and the award is seen as the highest level of an award in credit for the industry.

Dunn wrote the first textbook for credit and collections and it is being added to curriculums in colleges and universities nationwide. She presents webinars and seminars on the topic of credit and collections to business owners everywhere to help promote the importance of limiting credit risk in a bad economy. She also helps businesses prevent bad debt and collect on outstanding balances while helping them incorporate a working credit plan for their business. Dunn has worked in credit and collections for more than 24 years and has other books on the topic as well. She is also a columnist and will be teaching courses at Plymouth State University this fall.
