Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains opened a new Girl Scout Discovery Zone at the Mall of New Hampshire. Located across from Old Navy, the Zone allows visitors to learn about Girl Scouting and take part in activities. Girl Scout badge-earning opportunities will take place each day the Discovery Zone is open.
Girls can also take part in the Girl Scout Scavenger Hunt in the mall. They can get the list of hunt items at the Discovery Zone, then return the list to receive a patch and be entered into the monthly drawing for a mall gift card of $10. Mall stores such as EMS, Lok’d Room Escape, Claire’s, Dilly Dally’s Candles, Icing, and Tutti Frutti are participating.
Girl Scout Discovery Zone regular hours will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays, with some additional hours for special events.
Girl Scout troops are also welcome to have their meetings in the mall location, as many troops have lost their meeting spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic.
