Could Vermont's GMO Law Affect NH?

During the past several years, the effects of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) have stirred up a fierce debate over what impact they may have on our food and health. While groups like the Non-GMO Project provide labels to companies that meet their standards, there’s no federal or NH law that officially requires GMO-labeling of food products. However, Vermont’s Act 120 will make that state the first in the nation to institute a mandate of this nature, and it could have widespread effects on interstate commerce.
