Chamber to Host BNH ""Business of the Year"" Award Recipients

The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has announced a partnership with Business NH Magazine for a June breakfast. The breakfast forum will present a conversation with award winners of the 2013 Business of the Year Awards. The breakfast will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the Derryfield Country Club located at 625 Mammoth Road in Manchester.

The Chamber is proud that five of the eight award winners are members of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Panelists will include the following winners: Ryan Barton of Mainstay Technologies, the recipient in the Business Services category; Chris Schleyer of Elm Grove Companies, the award recipient in the Construction/Engineering/Real Estate category; Dr. Paul LeBlanc of
Southern New Hampshire University, the Education award winner; Tom Boucher of Great NH Restaurants, winner of the Hospitality/Tourism award; Maureen Beauregard of Families in Transition, the award recipient in the nonprofit category. Additionally, Brian Hooper, vice president of MSI Mechanical Systems in Salem, the 2013 Business Leader of the Year, will be part of the panel. According to the magazine, Hooper was honored for his dedication to programs that provide essential business skills to younger workers in the state's construction trade, as well as for his extensive community contributions.

For 21 years, Business NH Magazine and the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives have celebrated the NH Businesses of the Year and Business Leader of the Year. This is a chance to celebrate business excellence. At the event on June 12, these award recipients will be brought together for a conversation with Chamber President and CEO Robin Comstock. We will talk about their journeys as businesses, the challenges and successes they have faced along the way and what makes these business leaders tick!

The cost to attend the event is $25 for Chamber Members and $35 for not-yet members, breakfast will be provided. The event is sponsored by Nixon Peabody.
