Published Tuesday Feb 2, 2016

Liquid Planet Waterpark in Candia was purchased at auction by Jeff Woodward, managing partner of NLI, LLC, which owns ansd operates Alpine Adventures and Whale's Tale Waterpark, both in Lincoln, and has been renamed Candia Springs Adbventure Park. Opening date is planned for early to mid June.

“We’re proud to be a part of this community and to be able to offer southern NH residents a unique family attraction, right in their own backyard," says Woodward.

While full design plans have not been released, the initial expansion includes a a challenge/adventure course spread across a portion of the over 45-acre property. The attraction will use the natural landscape of the property along with custom built obstacles to create a unique, challenging and fun experience for the whole family. It will also include a taste of the off-road thrills offered by Alpine Adventures, using the same “Pinzgauer” military vehicles it uses to reach its zipline courses in Lincon. The new attraction will also allow the park to lengthen its season beyond the warmest months.

Prices will be slightly lower than before at  $20 for the waterpark. The challenge adventure course will be $39 and combination waterpark/challenge course tickets will be available for $49. The zipline ticket will be $10 and include a taste of the off road adventure.

Alpine Adventures is the first and largest zipline destination in New England and Whale’s Tale Waterpark has been named one of TripAdvisor’s “Top 25 Water Parks in the U.S.” NLI hopes to use this experience and philosophy to build something truly unique and special in southern NH. As CEO Jeb Boyd said, “We’re very excited to welcome Candia Springs Adventure Park to our family. We’re confident that we can create a family friendly gem in southern New Hampshire that all ages will be able to enjoy.”
