Patrick Clark, president and CEO of BurstPoint Networks in Merrimack, was selected by Governor Maggie Hassan to serve on the state’s Economic Development Advisory Council. Clark began his three-year term on February 7.

Clark’s background includes diverse experience driving complex programs and initiatives across global markets. Over the past few decades he has overseen company growth for a number of early stage and startup high tech ventures. Clark has managed small teams as well as teams larger than 2,000 worldwide and has taken two companies to successful initial public offerings and four companies to successful merger and acquisition transactions. Currently, Clark serves as president and CEO of BurstPoint, which offers high definition video conference recording, streaming and content management for enterprise and cloud service providers.

“It is such an honor to have been appointed by the governor to join this committee composed of very successful and distinguished individuals,” said Clark. “I am excited to discover the contribution I can make to the Council and, hopefully, to enhance and advance economic development efforts within the state as a whole.”

Established by an act of the State Legislature in 2008, the NH Economic Development Advisory Council is charged with assisting the Division of Economic Development by providing advice on the trends and the needs across all sectors of industry and government to aid in the strategic planning efforts of the Division. All members are appointed by the governor.
