FreshAir knows how to have fun, whether it is the Fresh-Air Renaissance Person Competition—a series of competitions chosen by the team that take place over three months (including seeing who can eat the most pancakes and still run up a hill) or the annual Fresh Air Day where the company treats employees to breakfast, a hike, a cookout and gives everyone the following day off. The firm also takes employees on a two-day team building event at a camp in Maine in September.

The company also has a FreshAir Cornhole League, welcome lunches for new employees, a chili cookoff, FreshAir FryDay, and Poutine Day. And it hosts events for employees’ families as well, like Tunbridge Fair Day and Drive In Night.

Family is important at FreshAir, which is why it allows employees to adjust their work schedules based on the other things that are going on in their lives. It provides three weeks paid paternity leave and eight weeks paid maternity leave. Employees can bring pets and children to work, and the company offers internships and part-time work to employees’ children who are old enough to work. And in addition to 20 days of paid time off annually and 15 paid holidays, FreshAir also provides unlimited sick and bereavement leave.

FreshAir offers regular executive coaching to all employees to help them learn and develop as leaders.

Employees also enjoy free membership at a local health club, the company paying 100% of health insurance premiums for employee and family plans, and a company-funded Flexible Spending Account.
