Another Mass. Firm Relocates to NH

Published Wednesday Aug 29, 2012

Aspen Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: AZPN), with worldwide headquarters in Burlington, Mass., is expanding to 100 Innovation Way, Nashua, where the company has leased 41,000 square feet and says it will employ 150 people. Michael Bergeron, business development manager for the Department of Resources and Economic Development, worked with AspenTech to analyze real estate and labor options.

AspenTech produces software for manufacturing energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering and construction, among other customers that manufacture and produce products from a chemical process.

New Hampshire is a great place to grow our company. It's a low-cost state, we have the right building that offers great amenities and access to a new labor market, yet still close enough to our offices in Burlington, said Mark Fusco, president and chief executive officer.

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch said he is pleased with AspenTech's decision to expand into the Granite State. This is further evidence that our state remains one of the most business-friendly states in the nation, he said. I have great respect for Mark Fusco and his team and we look forward to continuing to work with AspenTech here in New Hampshire.
