A Recession is Coming

Recessions are not easily forgotten and often linger in both our memory and our lexicon for years after. The Great Recession of 2009 is no exception. The problem now, says Jay Jagorsky, an economist and research scientist at Ohio State University, is the economy has been growing for years and 2009 was a long time ago. Zagorsky says on average recessions happen about every five years and no economic expansion has lasted more than a decade. Read more about his prediction here at the PBS News Hour.
