CCA Global Partners wanted to enhance its benefits package, which had been created by employees across all levels of the organization in 2019. So, the company decided to invest $600,000 in making things even better. Changes included decreasing the cost of health insurance premiums, speeding up how quickly employees earn time off and fully paying for short-term disability benefits for all employees. In addition, CCA added 100% paid leave for new parents and upgraded its 401(k) plan offerings. The cherry on top? Every day is now casual dress day.
During the pandemic, CCA ensured not a single employee would be laid off and extended additional sick days across the board. The HR team sent “Thinking of You” emails to keep staff connected with positive messages, announcements and reminders of the support available when needed.
To further boost morale, CCA collected and shared employee family photos and pics of pets in a “Home-Office Helpers” series of emails, created a video celebrating employees and hosted virtual kudos, which allowed employees to share videos, pictures and well wishes with each other.
CCA University offers training and professional development opportunities, from onboarding and industry certifications to product trainings and business topics. As part of its 90-day new employee process, CCA hosts 25 online courses from Microsoft Office training, soft skills and communications skills classes.
Its online wellness program offers employees daily, monthly and annual self-guided health, checklists and friendly contests that include financial incentives. The company also provides onsite massage, chiropractor visits and subsidized yoga classes.
