This Week's Spotlight: Emeran Langmaid, owner of A&E Coffee Roastery & Tea in Amherst and Manchester, was selected to aprticipate in the U.S. Brewer's Qualifying Event in Kansas City, Missouri, which celebrates the art of manual coffee brewing.

PROCON in Manchester is nearing completion of the frame of the $7.7 million facility for Rand-Whitney Container in Dover. Rand Whitney is moving its facility from Portsmouth to Dover and employs more than 45 people in manufacturing, warehousing and office jobs. The new building is 118,600 square feet, which is mostly manufacturing and warehousing space.

Grace Limousine in Manchester is the inaugural winner of the monthly LMC Group's Circle of Excellence Award for its use of technology. Grace Limousine provides complementary Wi-Fi for customers, has on-board cameras, and uses a GPS tracking system to manage all drivers.

Manchester Country Club in Bedford received the Association of Golf Merchandisers' Platinum Award for its golf shop operations.

Bank of NH in Laconia donated $3,400 to the Manchester Fire Department and the Operation Warm program, which donates new winter coats to children in need.

Binnie Media, a NH-based media group, promoted Faith Francis to station manager for 98.3 WLNH FM and 1490 WEMJ AM in Laconia and promoted Roberta Angel Barrett to sales manager for all stations in the Concord and Lakes Region.

Colby-Sawyer College in New London received a $3,000 grant from Campus Compact Coalition, a national college network of nearly 1,100 colleges that funds higher education initiatives. The grant will support a program to train faculty on environmental stewardship and to implement related courses.

Families First Health and Support Center in Portsmouth received a $10,000 grant from the CVS Health Community Grant program. The money will fund smoking-cessation education, counseling and stress reduction classes.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting in Bedford and Portsmouth. KBW, which has grown from four to 100 employees since opening, has placed more than 5,400 people.
