2011 Made In NH Expo to Showcase Granite State Entrepreneurs

The 16th Annual Made In NH "Try It & Buy It" Expo to be held April 1, 2 and 3 in Manchester.

The Made in NH Expo is celebrating its 16th year, delivering unique locally-produced products and services to thousands of Expo attendees and hundreds of distributors and retailers throughout New England.

For the second year at the Radisson Hotel/Center of NH in downtown Manchester, the purpose is to spotlight successful NH businesses and to encourage consumers to purchase locally-produced goods and services. Raising awareness of NH-made products boosts our economy while maintaining and creating jobs in the Granite State. The Expo is a great way to experience the superb products NH has to offer. Attendees are often heard exclaiming surprise at what is made right here in NH.

What's especially unusual about this Expo is the "Try It & Buy It" theme. Expo attendees will be able to sample and buy products from both new exhibitors and many returning favorites. Some of the treats offered at the Expo include a variety of candies, gourmet popcorn and marshmallows, barbecue sauces and more. But good food isn't the only thing at Expo. Also on display will be fine woodworking, jewelry, books by local authors, home dcor items, accessories and bath and body products.

Friday, April 1, is Business-to-Business Day. Wholesale and retail buyers from across the region and members of the NH Retail Merchants Association will make the Expo their destination. Many NH government officials, top industry leaders and business owners also attend opening ceremonies and stay to network with exhibitors and attendees. The public is also welcome on Friday.

Expo hours:
Friday, April 1 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. (opening ceremony begins at 2 p.m.)
Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Seniors will receive a $1 discount with an I.D. All tickets may be purchased at the door.
