Whole Foods to Open in Bedford

Whole Foods Market in Cambridge, Mass. announced that it will open a Bedford market. The store will be a 40,000 square feet store and employ approximately 150 full and part-time workers when it is expected to open in late 2015.
 
“We have been eager to respond to strong demand for stores in central Massachusetts and New Hampshire for a long time,” said Laura Derba, Whole Foods Market’s regional president.
 
Whole Foods Market currently has 35 operational stores in the North Atlantic region, with an additional five in development. Whole Foods Market will open its first NH location, in Nashua, on August 19.
