What the Navient Lawsuit Means for Student Loans

California is now the fourth and largest U.S. state to file a lawsuit against Navient, the nation's largest student loan servicer. According to a story by Forbes contributor Zack Friedman, most student loans are serviced by Navient.

California Attorney General will charge in the lawsuit that Navient caused student loan borrowers to overpay for student loan repayment and did not discharge student loan debt for borrowers with a total and permanent disability, including severely injured veterans. Read the story at Forbes.com
