TRM Microwave broke ground on a 13,696-square-foot, two-story addition to its headquarters in Bedford. The expanded space, built by Sullivan Construction of Bedford, is expected to bolster manufacturing and production capacity.
TRM creates technologies for the defense and aerospace industries. The company says it plans to expand its workforce in 2020 and beyond and expects the addition to open by October.
“By nearly doubling our space, TRM Microwave enters the new decade with increased capabilities and efficiency for supporting the critical demand of the national defense industry,” said Wendy Tirollo, CEO and owner. “Our ability to remain agile in an ever-changing world and market space while still maintaining our extraordinarily high standards for custom product development, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing remain the key components for our continued success and growth.”
TRM Microwave customers include BAE Systems, Boeing, General Dynamics, L3Harris Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.
