
According to the NH Fish and Game Department’s 2015 Freshwater Angler Satisfaction Survey:
• About a quarter of the 160,579 licensed NH anglers fish during the ice fishing season.
• Licensed anglers in NH reached a 15-year high in 2015.
• Of those who ice fish, 23 percent ice fish for more than 10 days per season.
• Winter anglers are committed. The mean number of hours fished in a typical ice fishing day is 6.21 hours.
