The Foundation for NH Community Colleges received a $500,000 gift from Northeast Delta Dental in Concord for NHTI, Concord's Community College, to address the demand for and shortage of dental hygienists and dental assistants. The gift is one of the largest in the history of the college and will support the expansion of NHTI’s dental clinic services to Medicaid patients.

Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation, more commonly known as COAST, in Dover has received two $10,000 grants on behalf of the Alliance for Community Transportation (ACT) from Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and the Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation. Led by COAST, ACT is comprised of transportation providers (including COAST), human service agencies, health care providers, planning commissions, and citizen members, and facilitates the implementation of coordinated community transportation across 38 communities, including all of Strafford County, eastern Rockingham County, and Wakefield and Brookfield in Carroll County. As part of this work, COAST also operates TripLink, a regional transportation call center that takes trip requests on behalf of COAST, Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, Community Rides, Ready Rides, and Rockingham Nutrition & Meals on Wheels.

Merchants Fleet, a fleet services provider based in Hooksett, hired Brian Piern as VP of regional sales. Piern's 15-year career in the commercial fleet industry, includes holding senior sales roles at GE Capital, Element Fleet Management, XL Fleet, and, most recently, chief commercial officer at Lion Electric.

ABA Centers of America, which provides applied behavior analysis therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder through a play-based approach, cut the ribbon for its new 15,500-square-foot facility in Nashua.

The Child Advocacy Center of Rockingham County named Angela Salb as a Champion for Children at the nonprofit’s annual award breakfast April 12 in Rye. Salb, who also serves as VP, commercial loan officer for MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank), serves on the board of directors for the organization.
