In the spotlight: B2W in Portsmouth, a provider of specialized software for heavy civil construction management, has been acquired by California-based Trimble. Financial terms were not disclosed. "B2W has helped thousands of heavy civil contractors increase their bid accuracy and operational efficiency," said Paul McKeon, B2W founder and CEO (pictured). "And now with Trimble, we can realize the next chapter of our story. By linking the planned with the executed, we will provide civil contractors with a truly connected construction experience, unlocking valuable new insights for our customers across their entire operation."

The NH Liquor Commission opened a new 13,000-square-foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Manchester with more than 4,000 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits, at 850 Gold Street to better serve the greater Manchester and Londonderry communities. Construction has begun on a new Nashua Outlet, which is expected to open in May 2023.

Bank of New Hampshire promoted Melissa Williams to banking office manager of its Dover office. Williams joined Bank of NH in 2005, worked in both the Dover and Moultonborough offices, and most recently worked in Laconia as the assistant office manager.

Rob Lofland, VP of corporate partnerships at Dover (Delaware) Motor Speedway will add NH Motor Speedway to his portfolio, including oversight of corporate partnership efforts, client management and partner retention. He will also be focused on bringing additional events to the NH facility on an annual basis.

Prolman Realty, Inc. facilitated the sale of 74 Northeastern Blvd. Units 13 & 14 Nashua to Sirra Holdings, LLC.  According to Lisa Ferrari, who represented Tescelani Holdings, LLC (Seller), “the 4,800 square foot office condominium is situated within the Northbridge Business Center and will be occupied by Arris Realty who will upgrade and utilize the main 2,400 Sq. Ft. level. The lower 2,400 Sq. Ft. will be leased-back by Netlogic Computer Consulting, LLC for an initial term of five years.” According to The Hillsborough Country Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $350,000.

The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation has awarded $88,590 to 22 organizations in Maine and NH engaged in community-oriented work, such as social and civil service, healthcare, economic and workforce development, and education. NH grant recipients are: Mayhew Program ($4,500); Friends of Aine Foundation ($3,000); NH Jump$tart Coalition ($2,000); Vouchers for Veterans $2,000;

A bill by U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan to “Cut Red Tape for Online Sales” was named a National Taxpayers Union “No Brainer” bill, an annual list of legislative proposals that bridge the partisan divide and demonstrate broad support for meaningful solutions. The bill aims to raise the threshold for when online sellers receive 1099-K tax forms showing their online sales, helping ensure that casual sellers are not burdened with unnecessary paperwork or mistakenly pay more tax than they owe.

The 5th annual Great MassabeSEEK, a family-friendly scavenger hunt, will be held Sunday, September 25, from 1 to 4 pm, at the New Hampshire Audubon Massabesic Center at 26 Audubon Way in Auburn. Along with using clues to locate hidden objects along the trails of the Audubon, participants can visit a live animal exhibit, play yard games, and compete for raffle prizes.
