In the Spotlight: Bank of New Hampshire hired Christine Heath as assistant VP – mortgage loan officer, serving the capital and western regions of NH working out of the bank’s Hillsborough office. The bank also hired Matthew Gallant as VP – retail lending sales manager. Gallant will oversee sales activities and a team of sales professionals in the Greater Seacoast region.

Colliers, a commercial real estate firm, facilitated the sale of a fully-leased two-story office building in Salem. Hugo Overdeput of Colliers’ Manchester office represented the seller, TKD Properties and Carla Herrick of Century 21 Northeast, procured the buyer, Herrick Development, in the sale. According to the Rockingham County Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $1,950,000.

Newburyport Bank donated $10,000 to Veterans Count in support of The Runnymede Formal to be held on June 24, at Runnymede Farm in North Hampton. The black-tie event will feature dinner and entertainment and guest speaker General Joseph Dunford, USMC (Ret.) KBE AO MSC OMRI. He served as the 19th chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The NH State Council on the Arts presented seven NH artists with awrads of $250 - $1,000 through its Artist Entrepreneurial grant program: Arthur Francoeur, music, Nancy Grace Horton, photography; Jacqueline Laufman, folk and traditional dance; Stephanie Lazenby, storytelling; Julie Moser, visual arts; Kristen Reynolds, sculpture; Michael Torrent, photography.

Bidgely’s UtilityAI platform was deployed by NH Electric Cooperative to analyze residential members’ consumption patterns to identify “low-cost-to-serve” behaviors and examine the potential effect on rates. Results identified three-member segment types – night load, all-year base load and heavy winter peak – that can potentially save 3 to 4 percent per year.
