Newburyport Bank has donated $1,500 to The Granite YMCA 2022 Annual Campaign as a Mt. Kearsarge sponsor. The Granite YMCA, with branches in Manchester, Goffstown, Concord, Londonderry, Portsmouth and Rochester provides opportunities for childcare, youth development programs, water safety and swim instructions, cancer survivor support, diabetes prevention, summer camps, and grandparent support programs.

Heartfelt Dreams Foundation in Hollis launched its Advanced Cardiology Fellows Grant that will award $5,000 in financial assistance to a deserving advanced cardiology fellow as they pursue medical training in cardiology and critical care skills to better treat congenital heart defect patients.

NHTrust hired Loretta Gomes, who has joinsthe organization as a trust administrator. Gomes is based out of the NHTrust office in Concord. Prior to joining NHTrust, Gomes spent more than 20 years working in the nonprofit sector.

NHTI Concord’s Community College received half of the funding needed for the upgrade of its Paramedic Emergency Medicine program equipment with $5,500 grant from Bangor Savings Bank Foundation toward the PEM goal of $11,000.

The homeowners in Evans Mobile Home Park recently purchased their 21-unit park, making it NH’s 140th resident-owned community. The cooperative reached a $400,000 purchase price with the park’s owner, John Holcombe, and finalized the deal Nov. 16 with a mortgage from the NH Community Loan Fund.

U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and Representatives Annie Kuster (NH-02) and Chris Pappas (NH-01) welcomed $571,277 to New Hampshire to support home visiting services in the North Country. The funding will bolster the work of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting program, which supports children and families at risk of poor health outcomes. By expanding the program’s capacity for televisits, this grant will help ensure the provision of these critical services is available in hard-to-reach and rural areas of New Hampshire.
