In the spotlight: wedü in Manchester hired Hayley Disko, a former intern who recently graduated from Endicott College with an MBA, as a digital content specialist. Geoff Poster, wedü’s new digital advertising specialist, began his professional career in broadcasting and digital marketing for both CBS Radio & iHeartMedia.

DATRON Dynamics, Inc., in Milford will mark its 25th anniversary by donating $25,000 worth of cutting tools to 10 educational institutions that have DATRON machines in their STEM program. Each of the selected institutions, which include the University of NH and Southern NH University, will receive a $2,500 voucher to purchase cutting tools for their DATRON machines.

Spaulding Academy & Family Services has opened a new building, the Shaker House, about two miles from campus in Northfield. After acquiring the property several years ago, the house was renovated to fulfill the unique space needs of the Community Based Programs staff. The team consists of a foster care licensing worker, masters level clinicians, case managers, and family aides.

Meredith Village Savings Bank and Merrimack County Savings Bank are collaborating on a safety webinar for local realtors. In the hour-long virtual event, former Tilton Police Chief and security expert Bobby Cormier will provide real world best practices to help realtors, who often visit homes alone with clients, safe on the job. The webinar will take place on September 23 at 10 am. Interested realtors can register at www.surveymonkey.com/r/RealtorSafety2021.

The Arts & Humanities Program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon was awarded a $6,000 Arts in Health grant from the NEA and the NH State Council on the Arts, to fund a new initiative. Titled “Singing Workshops for People with Parkinson’s and Other Vocal and Breathing Challenges,” there will be three sessions with five virtual workshops led by Angelynne Hinson, an independent artist and voice educator from Portsmouth.

The Greater Manchester Chamber promoted Corinne Breton to the new position of director of programs and strategic initiatives. She previously served as member experience and programs manager. Breton will be involved with Leadership Greater Manchester and explore growth opportunities including arts and culture projects and strategic partnerships.

Community Partners in Dover, a community mental health center and developmental disabilities service provider received $8,391 from The FABULOUS FIND, a non-profit resale boutique in Kittery, Maine dedicated to donating their proceeds back to the local community each month.

The NH Department of Environmental Services will hold a public information session about the permits required for the proposed Granite State Landfill project in Dalton, and address questions from the public about the permitting process. Wed. Sept. 29, 2021 at 6 p.m. at White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield.

The Center for Women & Enterprise is hosting its annual Women Business Leaders Conference featuring the Women of Color Business Summit on October 13 and 14, 2021. The conference will be brought to participants virtually, allowing women business leaders, owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders, supplier diversity teams, and purchasing professionals to join in from all over New England and beyond.

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the State of NH's $272 million of outstanding turnpike revenue bonds at 'A+'. The Rating Outlook is Stable. The 'A+' rating reflects New Hampshire Turnpike System's (NHTS) mature traffic base, which is somewhat exposed to discretionary leisure traffic, coupled with stable revenue performance generating solid financial metrics even through the coronavirus pandemic.
