In the spotlight: Community Volunteer Transportation Company hired Renee Sangermano as advancement assistant, building up the volunteer driver base in the 34 Monadnock Region towns served by CVTC. She previously worked as the director of parks and recreation for the town of Jaffrey.

Avery Insurance, a fourth-generation, family-owned, independent insurance agency in Portsmouth, recently hired Jeannie Burns and Deborah Sheridan. Sheridan will take the role of service specialist and Burns will be a client services liaison. Both will be based out of Avery’s Wolfeboro office.

Brookstone Builders, Inc., construction managers and general contractors in Manchester, was awarded a project by the NH Department of Natural and Cultural Resources for a complete renovation of the bathhouse at Ellacoya State Park, a public recreation area located on the southwest shore of Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford.

Prolman Realty, Inc. in Nashua facilitated the lease of 25,360-square-foot property at the Nashua Airport to Microwave Techniques at 104 Perimeter Road, according to Mark Prolman, who represented Rapid Real Estate, LLC (Lessor).

Meredith Village Savings Bank donated $5,000 to Monarch School of New England (MSNE) in Rochester in support of the school’s Horticultural Therapy and Gardening Program. The donation will be used to provide plants, seeds, compost bins, tools, and other supplies for the gardens.

Bank of New Hampshire promoted Nicole Leroux to deposit operations officer. She joined the bank in July 2005 as an items processing representative.

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce welcomed Birch and Oak, a web-based operations consulting firm as a member of the chamber.

St. Mary’s Bank hired Jamie Towne as a residential loan originator. She brings more than seven years of experience in mortgage lending and financial services to the credit union.

NH Federal Credit Union in Concord, as part of the 2020-2021 Credit Union College Scholarship Program, presented member, Lucas Gendron, with a $1,500 scholarship. He will be attending Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland this fall.

Goodwill Northern New England launched a $50,000 program to help move more people into personal stability. The Partner Stability Fund gives vouchers to nonprofits, who in turn gift them to their clients who need clothing and household items most. CATCH Neighborhood Housing and Families in Transition were gifted grants of $5,000.
