Meredith Village Savings Bank donated $10,500 to The Music Hall’s School Days Series scholarship program. The donation will allow The Music Hall, which is located in Portsmouth, to offer complimentary tickets, transportation and lunches to students, making it possible for school children to attend professional matinees.

Registration is open for the Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center 40th Annual Prouty, which combines cycling, walking, and more to raise funds for research and critical patient and family support services at Dartmouth and Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Hanover. To honor its 40th year, The Prouty will take place for 40 days between June 1 and July 10 this year.

When Carol Bickford recently retired from NH Mutual Bancorp after 37 years of dedicated service, most recently as the senior VP and retail lending officer, the board of directors for Meredith Village Savings Bank honored her with a donation of $5,000 to the nonprofit of her choice. Bickford selected the Lakes Region Community Developers.

The Founders Academy in Manchester has earned the College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP computer science principles. Schools honored with the award have expanded girls’ access in AP computer science courses.
