In the Spotlight: LRGHealthcare in Laconia completed phase one of its Emergency Care ReimaginED project at Lakes Region General Hospital. The complete $7.5 million dollar project reorganized emergency care to streamline patient flow. The next phase will add 21 private treatment spaces.

The NH Medical Society named L. John Klunk MD, the chief quality officer for ambulatory practices at Elliot Health System in Manchester, as its new president. Klunk has practiced at Elliot’s primary care practices in Raymond for 17 years.

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. raised $17,518 in the Lakes Region through its 26th annual Pink Campaign and TangerFIT 5K Run/Walk to benefit patients receiving care at the Anderson Ganong Cancer Center at LRGHealthcare.

Newburyport Bank donated $2,500 to the annual fund of the Portsmouth Historical Societyto support its historical programs, art exhibitions, educational activities, and help with improvements to the Discover Portsmouth welcome center.

The Chase Home in Portsmouth received a $5,000 grant from Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation and Tuscan Brands to purchase organic fresh food for its residents, youths who receive 24/7 therapeutic, clinical and mentoring support.

Primary Bank in Bedford is offering lockbox services with a Manchester post office box. The payment processing service will be offered to Primary Bank clients, municipalities and other government agencies, nonprofit organizations and corporations that want to outsource payment processing and cash management.

The NHHEAF Network Organizationsemployee-led NHHEAF Network Cares charitable giving program awarded mini-grants to seven nonprofits. Nonprofit agencies receiving $200 mini-grants included: Berlin School District (Berlin), Liberty House (Manchester), Manchester Police Athletic League (Manchester), Strong Foundations Charter School (Pembroke), and The Children's Place and Parent Education Center (Concord).  In addition, Austin17House (Brentwood) and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (Concord) each received grants of $150.
