In the Spotlight: Ashwini Saxena, MD, Ph.D. and Alexis Lykins, APRN, recently joined the medical staff of The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester. Saxena will serve as a psychiatrist for both the community support services program and medication services, while Lykins will work within the emergency services and interim care program and The Cypress Center.

The Boys & Girls Club of Manchester will receive a $50,000 grant from Lowe’s to renovate the boathouse on Sandy Pond at Camp Foster in Bedford. The grant is part of Renovation Across the Nation, a program between Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Lowe’s that awards critical need grants and volunteer support.

JSA,an architecture firm in Portsmouth, named Renee Dunn and Daniel Lamb associates in the firm. Dunn has more than 20 years of design experience with the firm and Lamb brings nearly 24 years of experience in both architecture and construction administration.

Merchants Fleet in Hooksett hired Jason Jones for its technology team. He will be the director of analytics and data management.

Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tracy Hall will retire at the end of the year. Hall began as the chamber's director of membership in 2006 and assumed the leadership role in 2015. The board is launching a search for a replacement.

The Community Action Program of Belknap-Merrimack Counties received a $10,000 donation from Franklin Savings Bankfor renovations to its Laconia Adult Community Center.

Spaulding Youth Center received a $5,000 grant from Franklin Savings Bank's Fund for Community Advancement. The grant will support one of Spaulding’s equine therapy programs, Healing with Horses, provided through the Lakes Region Riding Academy.

Dr. H. Matthew Quitkin, an orthopaedic surgeon, joined Atlantic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine practice in Portsmouth. He has extensive experience in upper extremity and hand surgery.

AARP New Hampshire recently honored 75 volunteers and presented the Andrus Award for Community Service to Martha LaFleur of Greenland. She was an art educator for 34 years, advocated for the arts in Keene, and was a co-director of The Samaritans of Keene, where she trained volunteers and conducted educational outreach relative to suicide prevention.
