In the spotlight:  Primary Bank Bedford hired Tom Conaton as its senior vice president and team leader of lending and Jessica Cabinta as VP, commercial loan officer. Both previously worked at Eastern Bank. Cabinta also worked for Santander Bank and started her career as a district manager with Automatic Data Processing in Salem. Conaton has 30 years of banking experience including Hampshire First Bank, Sovereign Bank, Granite Bank and Citizens Bank.

BANKW Staffing, LLC. , a regional provider of temporary, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing services, made seven internal promotions and three new hires that span the firm’s four offices of Bedford, Portsmouth, Boston and Woburn, Mass. and bring their employee count to 131 throughout New England. 

  • Allison Abate was promoted to director of administration for all four offices,
  • Nicole Clyde was promoted to director of recruiting for KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting in the Woburn office,
  • Heather Corbett was promoted to director of recruiting for KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting in the Portsmouth office,
  • Scott Dinneen was promoted to senior managing director, overseeing offices of Alexander Technology Group,
  • Rebecca Gillis was promoted to assistant director of administration for both NH offices,
  • Nathan Kinley was promoted to managing director in the Boston office to run The Nagler Group team,
  • Tim Rose was promoted to Director of Recruiting for Alexander Technology Group in the Woburn office.

New hires include Ryan Beaudry as a managing director to run Sales Search Partners in the Woburn office; Tim Darcy to run Alexander Technology Group in the Boston office as managing director. Jillian Vaillancourt returns to the organization after a brief hiatus as director of strategic accounts for BANKW Staffing.

Footrace

Members First Credit Union employees take casual day seriously. Each Friday, employees give $5 to dress down in jeans and other casual attire to support local charities. Members First recently donated $535 from the Casual Friday Fund to NH Foster & Adoptive Parent Association.

Members First also recently donated $7,500 to the Manchester Police Athletic League to sponsor the Footrace for the Fallen 5k Road Race on October 14.  The League is a non-profit organization that provides after school and summer athletic and recreational activities to Manchester-area youth. The annual race honors police officers who have died in the line of duty.

Northeast Credit Union in Portsmouth presented a donation of $7,023 to Make-A-Wish NH at their Annual Kid’s Halloween Party. Make-A-Wish is a non-profit whose mission is to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

The American Kennel Club (AKC) named State Representative John T. O’Connor of Derry the 2018 AKC Legislator of the Year Award for NH. Angela Ferrari, legislative chair for AKC’s NH federation, the Dog Owners of the Granite State, will present the award later this month.

Franklin Savings Bank presented the Tilton-Northfield Recreation Center with the Richard W. DuBois Community Impact Award at the 6th Annual Fund for Community Advancement Celebration in October.

The bank also presented a $3,500 grant to the group to help build a homework room and reading area for kids enrolled in their after school and summer programs.
