Evans, hired by LRGH as an anesthesiologist in 1991, joined the board of trustees in 1995 and has been chair of the finance and investment committee since 1999. 


The Capital Regional Development Council (CRDC) in Concord hosted a group of bankers from Oman Development Bank through the World Affairs Program of New Hampshire (WACNH) in Manchester. Stephen Heavener, executive director of CRDC, made a presentation to the group on assisting banks with gap financing or other financing opportunities.

Diversions Puzzles & Games in Portsmouth will open a second location in Maine in the beginning of May. Diversions has been in business in Portsmouth for four years.

The Executive Service Corps of Northern New England (ESC) in Hampton received a grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation in Concord to conduct a nonprofit sector organizational needs assessment. ESC provides nonprofits with pro bono consulting services from business executives.

Franklin Savings Bank hired Heather Capraro as assistant VP of retail sales and a business development officer. Capraro, who has 21 years of experience, most recently worked at Granite Bank, which has offices Amherst, Colebrook, Concord and Portsmouth, in business development and sales training.

Jewett Construction Co., Inc.  in Raymond hired Mark Wall to its client development team. Wall, who has experience in associated land development, will represent Jewett in Maine.

Live Edge Art in Portsmouth, a designer of custom wood furniture, will present at the Philadelphia Furniture Show. David Hallmark, founder, will be attending on behalf of the company.

McLane Middleton in Manchester launched ProbateTrial.com, a legal resource on probate litigation matters for lawyers and the public in Massachusetts and NH. Ralph Holmes, director of the firm’s litigation department, will oversee the site’s operations.

The NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) launched a new OneStop Data Mapper, an interactive web map that provides interactive environmental data mapping across NHDES programs.

The NH Department of Resources and Economic Development in Concord hired Anne Struthers and Mark Laliberte to its business retention department. Struthers will oversee the Manchester-Nashua corridor and Laliberte will oversee the Seacoast region.

Red Oak Apartment Homes, Inc. in Manchester, which owns 1,500 apartments in Manchester, Milford, Derry, Hooksett, Merrimack, Concord and Laconia, acquired Sunrise East Apartments at 73 East Broadway in Derry. The property features 28 studio, one and two-bedroom apartments.

Andrew Swenson of Wolfeboro Car Wash & Executive Detail,  a member of both the Air Force One Detailing Team and the 2016 Detail Team of the Museum of Flight in Washington, will help preserve and restore the original Air Force One presidential jet, a WWII B29 bomber and 15 more iconic Boeing aircraft at the museum for its centennial anniversary.
