Colby-Sawyer College in New London announced an affiliation agreement with the University of New Haven in Conn. that guarantees Colby-Sawyer sports management majors acceptance at the University of New Haven to continue their studies at the graduate level.

The NH Department of Education in Concord awarded a $3.2 million grant to nine Manchester schools in order to continue funding after school programs for five years. The schools benefitting from the grant are Bakersville elementary, Gossler Park elementary, Hallsville elementary, McDonough elementary, Parker-Varney elementary, Hillside middle school, McLaughlin middle school, Parkside middle school, and Southside middle school.
