Big Hit Media of Barrington and L-3 Warrior Systems of Londonderry completed a six-month effort to revitalize the L-3 Warrior Systems website, as well as develop custom marketing and customer management tools. The website serves as a front line in disseminating corporate and product information to its customers. L-3 supplies products and services to the U.S. Military, Allied forces, police, first responders, and sporting/civilian markets.

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen applauded the announcement that the city of Berlin received a $1 million loan from the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development project to repair the Godfrey Dam raw water transmission line. The Godfrey Dam serves as the primary storage reservoir for the city's water supply. The funding will be used to repair the water line running from the Godfrey Dam in the White Mountain National Forest through the ATV Park in Berlin.

Workforce Wellness LLC, a Concord subsidiary of The Scott Lawson Companies in Concord, honored 28 individuals during the 6th annual Breakfast of Champions for making a commitment to healthy living for 2012. Some of the champions participated in wellness events and attained achievements such as weight loss, smoking cessation, completing road races, and reducing medication.

The New Hampshire Medical Society in Concord selected Dr. Charles Blitzer, an orthopedic surgeon at Seacoast Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Somersworth, to serve as a trustee. Dr. Blitzer, a past president of NHMS, specializes in trauma and fracture surgery.

New Hampshire Grand in Lancaster added Bretton Woods, New Hampshire's largest ski area and four-season recreation facility, was named a Certified Grand Adventure.

Federal Savings Bank of Dover was named Underwriter of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce's premier spring event, the 12th Annual Sweepstakes & Auction.

The New Hampshire Chapter of The Nature Conservancy in Concord appointed Mark Zankel as state director. Zankel served as the Conservancy's director of conservation programs since 2000, as well as deputy state director.

New Hampshire Plate Glass Corporation, based in Portsmouth, faces a penalty of up to $90,750 for allegedly violating requirements designed to protect children from exposure to lead-based paint during painting and other renovation activities. The violations occurrded during a window renovation project performed by the company at the former Frisbee School in Maine. The Kittery site was subject to EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule.

The Center For Women & Enterprise in Boston recertified Millennium Integrated Marketing, a strategic marketing firm in Manchester that integrates online and offline strategies for business growth, as a Women-Owned Small Business. Millennium's certificatioin demonstrates that Millennium is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a woman.

Marc Brown, the executive director, announced the founding of the New England Ratepayers Association, a nonprofit advocacy group in Concord focused on issues impacting utility ratepayers in New England. The Association plans to be active in all six New England states and intends to provide resources and information to the general public, regulators, and elected officials on a variety of issues.

The Rivier University in Nashua served as a venue for the Fifth Annual Conference on Building a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence conference in conjunction with New Hampshire Peace Action. The event featured a keynote speech called Blessed are the Peacemakers: Making Peace and Practicing Nonviolence in a World of War and Violence by Rev. John Dear, S.J., peace activist, organizer, lecturer, retreat leader, and author/editor of 28 books on peace.

Bretton Woods in Bretton Woods, Cranmore in North Conway, Cannon Mountain in Franconia, and Waterville Valley in Waterville Valley ski areas launched the White Mountain Superpass, valid any day of the 2013-2014 winter season at all four mountains. The White Mountain Superpass will give skiers and riders access to a combined total of 284 trails, 41 lifts, 1,148 acres, and 6,900 vertical feet, as well as includes a special Bring-A-Friend Bonus.

Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA in Concord elected Wayne Geher, CPA, CFE as board chair of the NH Board of Accountancy. Geher is the director of the Forensic and Litigation Division of Nathan Wechsler, joining the firm in 1986. He was admitted as principal in 1988.

Bank of New Hampshire in Laconia donated $150,000 towards the Avery Hill capital infusion project to support the Laconia Area Community Land Trust.

Tom Paulbeck, president of Allianz Life Financial Services in MN, donated 10 digital picture frames to the Mark Wentworth Home of Portsmouth to capture residents' histories.

Warner Power, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of eletrical transformers and power systems in Warner, appointed Kevin Shannon as its new VP of product management, a newly created position. Warner Power also appointed Dr. Souheil Benzerrouk as its VP of engineering and chief technology officer and Chris Pruess as its VP of sales.

Catholic Medical Center of Manchester elected four new community leaders to the Center's board of directors: Rick Botnick, president and CEO of E&R Laundry & Dry Cleaners in Manchester; John G. Cronin, esq. founder of Cronin Bisson and Zalinksy, PC in Manchester; Maria C. Mongan, VP of National Wholesale Local Delivery Services; and Father Patrick Sullivan, OSB, RN.

MVP Health Care's board of directors elected Karen B. Johnson as chair after serving as vice chair since 2009. MVP Health Care is currently located in Manchester.
