Bradford firm Bruss Construction recently announced a continuation of its relationship with Exeter Academy with the 'greening' of an additional faculty residence. The renovation of the existing Thompson House was expected to include the installation of energy-use reduction strategies, including a high performance building envelope, a ground source heat pump mechanical system, Energy stat lighting and several other green technologies. The greening of the building was also expected to create a healthy living environment, add to the longevity of the building and reduce the school's impact on the environment.
