Brian Shankey will take the reins as the new president and CEO of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.


The Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce hired Brian Shankey, currently executive director for American Heart Association Northern New England, as its new president and CEO. He has more than two decades of nonprofit leadership, fundraising expertise, and volunteer management experience. Shankey will start his new posiiton on July 13. 

At American Heart Association Northern New England, Shankey is responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities and volunteer leadership across Maine, NH, Vermont and Central Massachusetts for the organizaiotn that oeprates on $2 million in revenue. 

Shankey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Psychology from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Business from Cambridge College. Shankey and, his wife Jess, daughter Alexa, and son Aidan have lived in NH since 2009.
