Ray Coultas Inducted into Credit Union Hall of Fame

The chief executive of three regional credit unions, Ray Coultas was inducted into the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s Hall of Fame on Oct. 14 in recognition of his leadership and service to the credit union community.

Coultas, a former resident of Lebanon, Maine, was lauded for his leadership of Hanscom Federal Credit Union in Bedford, Mass., Triangle Federal Credit Union in Nashua, and Holy Rosary Credit Union in Rochester, where Coultas led efforts to increase the credit union’s assets from $7 million to $60 million over seven years before retiring in 1993. He also served on boards and committees of the Credit Union National Association, the NH Credit Union League and TriCorp Federal Credit Union in Westbrook, Maine.

Coultas, who now lives in Florida, was honored at the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s annual conference at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. CCUA represents credit unions in Delaware, Massachusetts. New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
