Rath, Young and Pignatelli Forms Government Relations Affiliate

Published Monday Dec 18, 2017

The Concord based law firm of Rath, Young and Pignatelli has formed a government relations and public affairs affiliate called RYP Granite Strategies. RYP Granite Strategies is an expansion of the law firm's existing government relations practice group, which represents national, regional and state corporations, along with a number of nonprofit organizations. Rath, Young and Pignatelli, with offices in Concord and Nashua, as well as Boston and Vermont, has been representing clients for more than 30 years. It was one of the first New England law firms to offer government affairs representation alongside legal services.

Sherilyn Burnett Young, president of Rath, Young and Pignatelli, says the creation of RYP Granite Strategies is part of the firm's continuing effort to stay ahead of the evolving expectations of government, corporate and nonprofit leaders with respect to government relations.

RYP Granite Strategies will continue to be led by veteran lobbyist David G. Collins, who will serve as president. Gina R. Powers, who has been with the firm for 11 years, will serve as the director of Government Relations. Glenn A. Wallace, whose background includes journalism, education, executive branch staff and state agency administration, will be the manager of Government Relations. Richard M. Parsons, a former legislative staff aide with previous lobbying experience in NH and South Carolina, will serve as senior government relations coordinator. David McKillop will serve as government relations advisor.
