Published Monday Sep 8, 2014

The Financial Exchange with Barry Armstrong and Kim Carrigan is growing again. The popular Boston-based business radio show, which added News Radio 920, WHJJ-AM in Rhode Island to its network in late July, will now air on five more New England stations.

Effective immediately, the show begins on:

·         WGIR AM 610 in Manchester, New Hampshire weeknights from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

·         WELI AM 960 in New Haven, Connecticut weeknights from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

·         WHYN AM 560 in Springfield, Massachusetts from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., following Howie Carr.

Beginning on Monday, September 29, the show will air on WQSO FM 96.7 in Portsmouth and can be heard live weekdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Portsmouth. As of that date, The Financial Exchange will no longer air on WTSN AM 1270 in Dover.

“We’re adding five outstanding radio stations to the network, and they provide the perfect starting point in our mission to create a wider distribution platform for this show. This is a great first step in our efforts to achieve a larger goal.” said Jason Wolfe, chief media and marketing strategist for The Financial Exchange.

The Financial Exchange with Barry Armstrong and Kim Carrigan began as a one-hour show in September 2010, on WRKO-AM, and quickly established itself as the leading business news radio show in Boston. Barry and Kim report on the latest local and national business developments from top financial professionals including CEOs, analysts, and prominent business leaders.

“Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Central and Western Massachusetts are all key markets that complement our current listeners very nicely and we are thrilled to have these stations on board,” said Kim Carrigan.

As of September 29, 2014, The Financial Exchange with Barry Armstrong and Kim Carrigan will air on the following stations in NH: WGIR AM 610 in Manchester, WQSO FM 96.7 in Portsmouth, WNTK FM 99.7 FM and WUVR AM 1490/98.9 FM in New London, serving Lebanon, Rutland and White River Junction, VT.
