NH Healthcare Heroes Recognized

NH Healthcare Heroes Recognized

For its second year, the NH Healthcare Heroes effort recognized the dedication, courage and commitment of professionals in the health care community.

A volunteer committee made up of health care professionals selected seven winners and two runners-up for each of seven regions throughout the state. Nominations for the awards were submitted by colleagues, family, friends and patients. The New Hampshire Sector Partnerships Initiative (SPI) created the program to shine a light on the value and opportunities in health care.

“We continue to see how critical the health care workforce is to New Hampshire,” said Roxie Severance, health care advisor for the NH Sector Partnership Initiative. “It takes a full community of professionals–from nurses and licensed nursing assistants to cooks, maintenance technicians and dentists–to run our health care system. We’re excited to honor each of them and share their unique stories, so they serve as inspiration to those in or considering a health care career.”

Winners were honored during pinning ceremonies with each of their employers. Stories will be shared on social media at Facebook.com/HealthcareHeroesNH
