Peapod, a national internet grocer, expanded its service in southern NH to homes and businesses in Manchester. Peapod currently delivers to 29 zip codes in the Nashua and Portsmouth areas. The Manchester expansion will increase the number Granite State homes with access to Peapod service by more than 25 percent.
Peapod offers consumers a selection of brands, fresh produce and meat, organics, and household products that is delivered to their doors. Peapod shoppers can create personal lists, read nutrition information online and sort products by price or nutrition criteria. The service also offers weekly specials.
The service costs $6.95 for orders over $100 with a minimum order size of $60. There is no subscription or membership fees. The service is now offered in the following zip codes: 03101, 03102, 03103, 03104, and 03109.
