New President at Savings Bank of Walpole

Savings Bank of Walpole, headquartered in Keene, has promoted Mark Bodin, former senior VP/CFO of Savings Bank of Walpole to president. Bodin was selected by the Bank’s Board of Directors.

“Mark is a skilled banker and principled leader, and I am confident that he will carry on the values that have served Savings Bank of Walpole and our community for nearly a century-and-a-half,” says Gregg Tewksbury, former president and CEO for Savings Bank of Walpole who now serves as president and CEO of NH Mutual Bancorp, a mutual holding company that includes SBW as an affiliate.

“As a local bank, we will continue to offer our customers products that are in their best interest,” says Bodin. “Additionally, we will remain steadfast in our support of our employees and our engagement with the vital organizations that make our community vibrant.”

According to a statement, Bodin is has a strong track record of developing and executing strategic growth plans at businesses and non-profits.  As senior VP/CFO of SBW, he was responsible for all financial operations of the Bank, leading its wealth management program and serving as a steward in advancing the Bank’s mission.
