Delta Dental to Offer Plans on the Health Exchange

Northeast Delta Dental in Concord was approved by the New Hampshire Insurance Department to offer dental plans on the Heath Insurance Marketplace, also known as the Health Benefit Exchange, the web-based marketplaces authorized by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that are scheduled to open in NH for enrollment on October 1.

Northeast Delta Dental’s plan offerings on both the Individual Marketplace and the SHOP (Small Business Health Options Program) Marketplace will include family, adult-only and child-only plans, with each offered at a high or low option.

Northeast Delta Dental will continue to offer dental plans in the private market to service larger employers and those individuals and small groups not purchasing coverage through the Marketplace.
 
Northeast Delta Dental’s network includes 94-percent of the state’s practicing dentists. Northeast Delta Dental offers dental benefit plans to employers and individuals in Maine, NH, and Vermont, and also has been approved to offer plans on Maine and Vermont’s Health Benefit Exchanges.
