NHTrust hired Steve R. Palmer as senior VP, senior client officer. In this role, he will work with NHTrust relationship managers and financial advisors to design and implement strategies for client experience and the growth of the core business functions. He will also be focused on building strong relationships across NH Mutual Bancorp (NHMB) and affiliated institutions (MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank)Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack), and Savings Bank of Walpole).

Accel-KKR, a global technology-focused investment firm based in California, made “a significant equity investment” in Loftware, a global provider of cloud-based Enterprise Labeling and Artwork Management solutions based in Portsmouth. With this transaction, Accel-KKR will join current investor Riverside Partners as backers of Loftware. Terms were not disclosed.

IT Secure Services, an IT firm in Bedford, transitioned ownership from the company’s founder to Dan Horgan, a technical engineer, support manager, and long-time company employee. The transfer between Joerg Laves, who founded the company in 2007, was finalized on March 1, 2023.

The Community College System of NH (CCSNH) and the University of NH (UNH) College of Health and Human Services have partnered to create a universal transfer pathway in social work. This will enable community college students to seamlessly transfer college credits from an associate degree program into a bachelor’s degree program with a clear path for future coursework and degree attainment. This agreement is the first with the College of Health and Human Services; CCSNH currently offers pathways to 28 other UNH degrees.

Main Street America Insurance, a U.S. provider of property-casualty insurance through independent agents, marked its 100th year in business. Employee and community kickoff celebrations were held on March 28 in Keene, NH, where the company was founded on March 28, 1923, as National Grange Mutual Liability Company, and at its headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla., where the company redomiciled to in 2005.

Friends Forever International (FFI) in Durham elected four new board members: Christine Dwyer, senior VP of RMC Research; Bob Gibson, president of Constrata Inc.; Darcy Peyser, an attorney at Durbin Law Offices in Portsmouth; and Steve Falci, head of systematic and multi-asset strategies at Impax Management. FFI is a global organization based in Durham that was founded in 1986 with a mission to help youth become the best versions of themselves so they can help their community become the best version of itself.

Meghan Wentworth, CDP, of Barrington, the Mind & Memory Care Director for Benchmark at Rye, has been selected by Gov. Chris Sununu to serve on the state’s Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia subcommittee. Wentworth will represent the assisted living industry as the subcommittee’s sole assisted living representative.
