Business NH Magazine covers receiving awards from the NH Press Association.

The NH Press Association announced the finalists for its 2022 awards and Business NH Magazine will be receiving 20 awards for its journalism, design work, special sections, editorial writing, podcast (BizCast NH) and general excellence.

The final placement results (first, second or third) will be announced at an in-person banquet on June 9 at the NH Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College in Manchester. The award entries are judged by journalists from press associations in other states.

“We are honored by these awards as we know it was a competitive field. I am extremely proud to be part of the award-winning team at Business NH Magazine,” says Editor Matt Mowry. “We are proud to be members of New Hampshire’s media. It is evident from all those named as finalists that NH is home to quality journalism and outlets that are committed to keeping our readers and communities informed in meaningful ways.”

Paula TracyBusiness NH Magazine congratulates all the winners, including the Granite State News Collaborative, which won 15 awards, and Paula Tracy, who will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tracy worked as a general assignment reporter at the NH Union Leader for 25 years before going to WMUR in 2013 and then InDepthNH.org in 2018.

She has been writing and editing for daily news organizations since 1982. A native of NH, Tracy graduated from the University of NH and few people know the nooks and crannies of NH like her. There are few areas of news that she hasn’t covered extensively from Governor and Executive Council meetings to the state Legislature to Fish and Game to the Courts and human-interest stories.
