The Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of NH invites businesses to submit projects to be completed by graduating MBA students as part of the Corporate Consulting Project (CCP) Program.
The program is the capstone of the MBA program so projects should be challenging, with workloads set at a professional level. Student teams will work 30 hours per week on assigned projects over a seven-week period beginning March 20 through May 5, 2017. There is no fee for companies to participate in the program, however a donation of $500 is requested to help offset program expenses, such as student travel.
“The CCP experience gives our MBA students a unique opportunity to apply their knowledge to solve real-world business problems while also strengthening Paul College's connections and contributions to the business community,” says Dean Deborah Merrill-Sands.
Up to 10 firms will be selected and assigned student teams. Paul College faculty advisors will match student teams to projects based on the business scope of work and the students’ interests and competencies. Points of contact at the selected firms will be sent student resumes for review and final approval prior to the start of each CCP engagement.
Since 2003, more than 400 students have completed 200 projects for more than 100 companies. Teams have worked with business clients to develop a national IT disaster recovery plan, implement a new sales tool to improve profitability and customer retention, and improve fuel forecasting and distribution processes, to name a few.
Firms wishing to participate are encouraged to submit project proposals by 5 p.m., Friday, March 3 at: https://paulcollege.unh.edu/ccp-proposal.
